— On last night’s Wrestling Observer Radio, one of the discussions was about WWE setting up a future Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns storyline which is likely the reason that Rollins beat Reigns clean on Raw.
— The plan is still for Reigns to defeat Brock Lesnar and win the WWE Universal title, but after that there are a lack of opponents for Reigns into the summer. Dave Meltzer speculated that if WWE presented a heel like Bray Wyatt as Roman’s first post-WrestleMania feud, it would be a complete failure.
— Braun Strowman and Finn Balor would be two other candidates, but Strowman for one doesn’t make sense as WWE doesn’t want him losing in a one-on-one match. As a result, Rollins appears to be the guy being groomed to step up and challenge Reigns in a program following WrestleMania.
