— TNA does have interest in bringing Victoria in. Of course, it remains to be seen if she’s interested.

TNA has been looking for someone who is a good worker who they can push as a top babyface.

Victoria’s contract status remains unknown. If it was WWE’s decision and they allowed her a sendoff, she could technically be available to come in ninety days or so. But if it was her decision and she just wanted to go home, they could keep her on ice until the end of her contract.

— Kurt Angle was mad at Giant Bernard (former WWE wrestler A-Train) for power bombing him too quickly after the finish in their Tokyo Dome match a few weeks ago. The angle was shot for TV in Japan, but at the same time, Bernard had to give enough time because the match is airing as a TV main event for TNA’s upcoming “Global Impact” special in the United States. It’s going to be hard for TNA to not air the power bomb with an abrupt jump cut. Additionally, TNA officials obviously have no interest in airing something putting Bernard over their top star.

— Mick Foley’s letter actually wasn’t published in this week’s issue of Sports Illustrated. Rather, a letter regarding Foley’s portrayal in the review of “The Wrestler” was.
