New NXT Trademarks Hinting at WWE Main Roster Callups?
According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE has filed to trademark the following Superstar names:
Shayna Baszler
Kairi Sane
Kyle O’Reilly
Bobby Fish
WWE has also filed to trademark Corey Graves, who is already an established main roster talent. The other NXT names being trademarked is an indication, but not a confirmation, that WWE does have future plans to call the talents up to the main roster.
With regards to Shayna Baszler, WWE trademarking her name comes at an interesting time as she recently lost the NXT Women’s Title and has been rumored to be working with her fellow Four Horsewomen of MMA in some capacity in the near future. Speculation has been that a match featuring the Four Horsewomen of MMA vs the Four Horsewomen of WWE is on the horizon, hinting at a possible main roster callup for Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir.
