Guillaume Lainé of Ouest-France reports this afternoon that Caen goalkeeper Rémy Riou will join Lyon at the end of the season, with his contract expiring.
The 34-year-old, who came up through the youth academy with Les Gones and left in 2007, will leave the Ligue 2 side to become his formative club’s 3rd choice option between the sticks.
Riou will play his final game for the Normandy side this Saturday as they face Quevilly-Rouen at home, as they sit in 9th place. The former Auxerre and Nantes man, who has been with Caen since 2019, has made 32 appearances this campaign.
