The outlet report that the former Tottenham coach is fed up and tired with relentless questions over his style of play and the level of his players. The way in which the Paris club operates frustrates him while his relationship with sporting director Leonardo is already strained, especially so after the failure to sign Tanguy Ndombele from Tottenham during the transfer window – who eventually joined rivals Lyon.

Le Parisien report, meanwhile, that PSG have tried to find a successor in recent weeks and replace the Argentine before the season’s end, while Zinedine Zidane’s arrival was discussed as far back as October say the outlet with Pochettino retaining links in England and was ready to return to the Premier League last summer.

The PSG coach was ready to join Manchester United just last month, Foot Mercato say, after he was initially contacted about the role in November, and has already informed those close to him that he plans to leave Paris at the end of the season.
