Queensland have named an unchanged squad for their clash with the Cheetahs at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday night.
Winger Junior Laloifi maintains his spot after Chris Feauai-Sautia was a late scratching in the Reds last start against the Bulls because of an ankle injury.
The Reds lost their two games on tour in South Africa, after being put to the sword late on in their defeats to the Bulls and Stormers.
“We played well in patches in South Africa but we were disappointed not to get the results we were after,” Reds co-interim head coach Nick Stiles said.
“We were able to push two good teams, away from home in hostile environments, we just need to deliver an 80-minute performance.”
The Cheetahs have had similar struggles to the Reds in 2016, although did put a record score on the Sunwolves just a fortnight ago.
“The Cheetahs are a good side and we’ve had some close matches with them in recent years,” Stiles said.
“The group’s sole focus this week has been preparing well to deliver a performance we and our fans can be proud of.”
The Reds have decided against rushing Rugby League convert Caleb Timu into the team, as he continues his transition from the Brisbane Broncos.
