Emery is expected to stick with Sead Kolasinac at left-back following Monreal’s injury, with Ozil expected to miss out due to a back problem.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Alex Iwobi could start in support of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in attack, while Emery is likely to go back to two centre backs in a four man defence with Holding now out injured for at least the rest of the season.
Terence Kongolo and Abdelhamid Sabiri face fitness tests before Saturday’s trip to Arsenal, while Huddersfield coach David Wagner is without suspended Phil Billing for the game at Emirates Stadium.
“Terence was not injured but he suffered fatigue, which is not a surprise after the injury he had and the fact he has now played a lot of games, including this midweek one,” said Wagner.
“That’s why I was a little bit uncertain before the game if he would be able to start.

“He got fatigue and he gave the sign that he had to come off.
“Hamid Sabiri has a serious shoulder injury as well and we will have to make further investigations as to how long he will be out.”
