The 2018 MTV Movie and TV Awards are right around the corner, so brace yourselves for an evening of laughs, on-stage makeouts (a favorite tradition), and golden popcorn statues.

Wait, isn’t it called the MTV Movie Awards?
Not anymore, it’s not! Last year marked the first time that TV was also invited to the party, and there’s no going back now. According to Indiewire, it’s part of why the show is now been pushed from May to June (during Emmy voting).

The incomparable Tiffany Haddish will be the evening’s host and emcee, so buckle up for a lot of laughs (and possibly a resurgence of her favorite Alexander McQueen dress, it’s unclear).

Check out the full list of nominees right here. If you’re feeling a little lazy, here’s a quick overview: Black Panther secured the most nominations with 7, surprising absolutely nobody. The TV side has a few new heavy hitters in 13 Reasons Why and Riverdale, but they both trail fan favorite Stranger Things in total nominations (the hit ’80s-based Netflix show leads with 6).
In a cool twist, none of the categories are gender-specific (for the second year in a row), which means men and women will go head to head for performance awards. That golden popcorn will sure come in handy.

As a matter of fact, yes! Chris Pratt, whom MTV calls “one of Hollywood’s most renowned and sought-after actors,” will be given the Generation Award for his body of work, while Lena Waithe, whom MTV says “wielded her voice with stunning results,” will receive the Trailblazer Award
