Hari Om, one of the accused in the 2015 lynching of Mohammad Akhlaq in UP’s Dadri who was out on bail in the murder case has been arrested by the Noida Police.
According to police, Hari Om was wanted in at least four criminal cases including robbery and dishonestly receiving stolen property in Ghaziabad.
He was arrested on Monday after a brief encounter from near Samana Canal by a team from the Jarcha police station, which had got a tip-off about a criminal’s suspected movement in the area around midnight.
