Trying hard to change the image of his country, Pakistani PM Imran Khan has decided that 400 temples will be restored and thrown open to Hindu minority of the country. According to a report byIndiaToday, the Pakistani PM has finally responded to the long held demand by the Hindus.
Majority of the temples were either encroached upon local strongmen after partition while many ended up being used as common facility and many were even turned to madrassas. The process of restoring the temples will start with two historic shrines in Sialkot and Peshawar. Sialkot has Jagannath Temple and over 1000-year-old Shivalaya Teja Singh which will be restored.
