A bottle of beer will cost you an additional Re 0.50 and Indian Made Foreign Liquor will cost you an extra Rs 2 at liquor shops and if you are consuming it in a bar, you will have to pay Rs 5 and Rs 10 more in Uttar Pradesh.
This is because the Yogi Adityanath Government is aiming to raise a total of Rs 165 crore annually from the sale of liquor to run the temporary cow shelters that have been springing up all over the state.
