In an utterly shameful and disgusting act, relatives of those killed in the flyover collapse in Varanasi on Tuesday have alleged that they were made to pay Rs 300 to the hospital staff as bribe to get the postmortem conducted and the bodies handed over.
Families of several victims said, the staff at Banaras Hindu University where the postmortem were held were demanding bribe to get the autopsy. One of the workers reportedly left a dead body on the floor when the victim’s family refused to pay him any money.
