All Elite Wrestling competitor Chris Jericho still has plenty of ties to WWE personnel, and he has decided to address the controversy with Lio Rush that broke earlier this week. Rush alleged in an interview that he is not making enough money in WWE to support himself financially and hasn’t been promoted alongside Bobby Lashley despite the two of them working together for months. This comes after previous reports of Rush having backstage heat and being taken off of Raw. In response to a fan on Twitter, Jericho called it “taboo” for Rush to disrespect in-ring veterans in 2019. Rush does not like the idea of carrying bags or refilling water for WWE’s top stars, but Jericho argues that it is important to show respect to WWE’s key stars.

Key statement there is “if I was a big Star in the WWE”. You’re not, so u don’t know the respect and dedication you need to make it in WWE. I never once “made” a young guy carry my bags. But I was shown respect every day. To disrespect the vets in any way is taboo in our biz. https://t.co/GlFCIag9wE

The Young Bucks confirmed weeks ago that their mentor, CIMA from the Oriental Wrestling Entertainment promotion in China, had signed a full time deal with All Elite Wrestling. CIMA will be wrestling SCU (Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian, and Scorpio Sky) in a six-man tag team match during AEW’s Double or Nothing event this month, but he had yet to reveal his partners until today. None other than T-Hawk and El Lindaman will be helping CIMA during the match. Both of these men currently compete for OWE. They both also wrestle for several Japanese promotions. T-Hawk is the current Wrestle-1 Champion, and both men are in their twenties right now as well. Check out CIMA’s announcement video down below:

Vader’s passing last year was heartbreaking for fans who remember watching the former WWF and WCW heavyweight in action. Given the years that he dedicated to the business, the amount of promotions that he wrestled for, and the numerously stiff matches that he was infamously involved in, Vader likely had plenty of stories to share about his career. Fortunately, PWInsider has reported that the autobiography Vader was working on prior to his death has been released. “Vader Time: The Story of a Modern Day Gladiator” is written by Vader and Kenny Casanova, and it it about 400 pages long. A trailer featuring more information for the new book has been posted online, and that can be viewed down below:
