WWE officially announced Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar will take place at the Survivor Series next month on Twitter this afternoon.

Keller’s Analysis: The Paul Heyman-Brock Lesnar promo last night was such a letdown that it makes today’s Twitter announcement feel anticlimactic. There wasn’t really any drama to whether Lesnar via Heyman would accept the challenge, because the struggle to get the crowd to cheer and chant for Goldberg instead of Brock Lesnar distracted from it. I’m not sure the promo permanently hurt the match, as long as they heat things up the next few weeks. I don’t really know if what Heyman said gives Goldberg anything new to talk about, though.
