– NXT North American Champion The Velveteen Dream would come out to open the show and talk about his title win over Johnny Gargano. Matt Riddle would then interrupt him and issue a challenge for a title match. Dream would say that he doesn’t like to be called “Bro” by Riddle any longer. Dream would then say that he is the champion now and he is the only one with a spotlight on him in NXT. The lights would then go out in the arena and Dream would then pose under the spotlight. The lights would then come back on and Riddle is nowhere to be seen.
– Ricochet & Aleister Black def. Fabian Aichner & Marcel Barthel to advance in the next round of The 2019 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
– The Forgotten Sons def. Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch to advance in the next round of The 2019 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
– Moustache Mountain’s Trent Seven & Tyler Bate def. The Street Profits’ Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins to advance in the next round of The 2019 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
