What started as a seemingly playful thread of tweets over the weekend between Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch about who “The Man” is in the WWE is now leaving many wondering if it is a tease that the WWE will bring back intergender matches.
In her turn as a heel champion, Lynch has referred to herself as “The Man” throughout her social media accounts and even changed her Twitter profile to reflect that. Rollins was initially tweeted out by WWE’s account as “The Man” in a WWE Live show in Madrid. Rollins and Lynch have then traded tweets throughout the weekend that might lead you to believe a match will be in their future. Here’s the thread:

No problem, I could spare five minutes to drop down and face you. Send location. And bring those adorable little flame trunks you have so The Champ can show you how to really burn it down #iamtheman https://t.co/4rGVBHrdgj
