WrestleMania concluded in New Orleans, Louisiana last night after delivering several interesting matches throughout the night. WWE hosted the event in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana last night, which can hold thousands of fans. During WrestleMania 34, the company officially announced that 78,133 reported fans were in attendance for the show that evening. This tops the attendance of 75,167 fans from when WrestleMania 30 was hosted in the Superdome back in 2014. The event in New Orleans last night is also now officially ranked as the sixth highest-attended WrestleMania in history, with 28, 23, 29, 3, and 32 all topping it in that order.
During the Kickoff show, the first edition of what is now said to be an annual tradition took place with the launch of the WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal match. Quite a number of spots were still available despite a ton of female roster members from Raw and Smackdown announced to compete in it. As a result, several talents from NXT received the chance to compete in the match on the biggest stage that WWE has to offer each year. Six women from the developmental brand took part in the match, including Taynara Conti, Kairi Sane, Kavita Devi, Peyton Royce, Dakota Kai, and Bianca Belair. Unfortunately, none of the NXT roster members were able to win the match.

All eyes were on Ronda Rousey during her first official professional wrestling match, which took place at WrestleMania last night. The new WWE Superstar and Kurt Angle defeated Stephanie McMahon and Triple H after Rousey made McMahon submit when she locked her in an armbar. Rousey’s debut match is considered a highlight of WrestleMania by fans and it has been mostly praised thus far. WWE just uploaded a video of her emotional reaction when she walked back through the curtain after her match ended. Also, an image posted by Tim Fiorvanti of ESPN shows Rousey celebrating her pro wrestling debut with her best friend, and current NXT Women’s Champion, Shayna Baszler.

Moments after @RondaRousey won her debut WWE match, she enjoyed the moment with long-time friend and fellow WWE superstar @QoSBaszler. Baszler had a big moment of her own Saturday night, when she won the NXT women’s championship. https://t.co/ywPfeXm2K5 pic.twitter.com/5OkTlY2Td4
