Drew McIntyre was on top of the world after he returned to WWE and became a member of the NXT roster. He experienced a ton of success on the brand and he even won the NXT Championship. After losing the title and receiving an injury, he has been forced to sit on the sidelines for a while. It was recently reported that he is back training in the WWE Performance Center and could return to the ring soon. Just to add to the speculation, McIntyre just recently sent out a tweet warning the NXT roster that he is indeed on his way back very soon. One would think that McIntyre would want another shot at the NXT Championship whenever he is ready to make his return.

Consider this advanced warning. As much great stuff as I’m watching in @WWE & @WWENXT I’ve noticed some complacency across the board. Sitting ducks. I’ve never worked this hard in my life. If you’re across the ring from me & you’re not on my level…I will eat you alive #TickTock

The WWE Network typically has some new content added to it every single wwe, but WWE has been adding some classic programming to the network as of late. According to WWE Network News, the trend will continue as new episodes of WCW Thunder will be coming to the network starting next week. WWE originally planned on adding Thunder to the network last year, but a lawsuit filed by former WWE and WCW performers Raven and Buff Bagwell caused the company to temporary halt those plans. The two agreed to drop the lawsuit back in December 2017. There is currently no word on the quantity of Thunder episodes that is expected to be uploaded to the network next week.

WWE is continuing to expand worldwide with endeavors such as their upcoming mega show in Australia and with their increased business ventures in the Middle East. It was announced last week that WWE will be hosting a show featuring a 50-man Royal Rumble match in Saudi Arabia on April 27th. According to Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, the upcoming event, titled the “Greatest Royal Rumble,” WWE has confirmed that all of the talent advertised in the press release will be competing on the show, but that does not necessarily mean that they will be in the Royal Rumble match. Names such as John Cena, Roman Reigns, and Triple H are being advertised to appear at the event.
