Five huge matches have been officially announced for tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, taking place at The Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, PA.
As previously reported Chris Jericho will defend the AEW World Championship against Darby Allin in a Philly Street Fight, where anything goes in the city of extreme. That won’t be the only title on the line, as Riho defends the AEW Women’s World Championship against Dr. Britt Baker after the two teamed successfully earlier this week.
Also announced are the next two matches in the AEW World Tag Team Championship Tournament, as the Lucha Brothers (Pentagon Jr. and Rey Fenix) take on Jurassic Express (Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy), with the winners advancing to the semifinals where they will face Private Party.
SoCal Uncensored (Christopher Daniels and Kazarian) also takes on the Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent), with the winner facing The Dark Order, who got a first round bye at ALL OUT, in the semifinal round.
Finally, Kenny Omega will team up with fellow Elite member Hangman Page. Both stars have hard a hard time keeping it together recently with The Elite taking a serious beating from Chris Jericho’s new faction, The Inner Circle. They’ll try to bounce back next Wednesday night when they take on Jon Moxley and PAC, with the later holding a win over both opponents.
