AEW will experiment with their first-ever Sunday pay-per-view as Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Revolution will be moving to Sunday, March 7th.

The company has yet to formally announce the date.

Revolution was initially set for Saturday, February 27th at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, but AEW didn’t want to go head-to-head with boxing star Canelo Alvarez’s next fight on PPV. Meltzer said Saturday, March 6th was also considered, but they didn’t want to go head-to-head with UFC 259’s triple championship main card, headlined by middleweight champion Israel Adesanya vs. light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz.

Meltzer reported in this past week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the date was being moved.

As of now, only one match has been announced as WCW legend Sting will team with TNT Champion Darby Allin against Ricky Starks and Brian Cage of Team Taz in a street fight. It’s expected more will be announced following the Beach Break edition of Dynamite on February 3rd.
