After a night-long raid in several south-west Delhi colonies, police caught nine more Kanwariyas on Tuesday, bringing the total number booked for vandalising a car in Moti Nagar on August 7 to 11. Four of those taken in by the cops are juveniles and have been sent to a reformation home.
Vijay Kumar, DCP (West), said that the investigating team had scanned more than 100 CCTV clips from the stretch between Najafgarh Road and Moti Nagar as well as those from the kanwar camps on this route to identify the accused. After analysing the videos, the cops concluded that around a dozen yatris were involved in the actual trashing of the i10 car while the rest had only clicked photographs or recorded videos of the incident.
