Hiroshima, which is hosting Site A of the World Cup (Australia, Canada, Egypt, Italy, Japan and USA) is not expected to be affected much by the Typhoon. The city is further south on the main island of Honshu, facing the Inland Sea and not exposed to the Pacific Ocean, where Etau continues to build up.Shikoku Island stands guard in the ocean protecting Hiroshima from weather coming in from the Pacific.
