Fabrizio Romano is reporting that AS Monaco midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni (22) is “fighting” to join Real Madrid as the deal enters a “key” week.
According to Romano, sources at PSG believe that the French midfielder is “fighting to join Real Madrid as soon as possible.” Real Madrid and Monaco will meet again this week in an attempt to conclude the deal with discussions about add-ons on the agenda.
It is a “key week” for the deal and Real Madrid remain favourites to secure Tchouaméni’s signature. PSG are interested in bringing the French international to the Parc des Princes, although it has previously been reported that he favours a move abroad. Liverpool, meanwhile, look to have dropped out of the race.
