It’s December 2017 and the photograph is one of a series that has earned Palestinian photographer Ahmad Gharabli the Arab Journalism Award in the photojournalism category.
"Three women were not part of the demonstration, you have two girls in the centre who have just left school and walked in the street to go home when they got caught up. Only the woman on the left was part of the demonstration," Gharabli told The Telegraph. "They all left very quickly, I didn’t see them again."
