Amidst speculation regarding Rob Gronkowski’s future following the New England Patriots loss in Super Bowl 52, Ian Rapoport has provided more insight into Gronk’s future.
Rapoport is reporting that while Gronk has been relatively low-key about his status and future, and has been weighing out retiring from football, along with WWE and Hollywood options, the belief is he will return to football next season.
“The belief now is that Gronkowski will continue his football career with The New England Patriots,” said Rapoport. “I have not talked to one person who believes Gronkowski will retire. The expectation is [Gronkowski] is back in a Patriots uniform in 2018.”
