We’ve got an update on the 3-day WWE tryout camp that took place over the weekend in Tampa, Florida. According to a source who was in attendance, it was described as the most grueling WWE tryout camp, with one wrestler quitting on the first day.
Among the top independent workers being evaluated were ROH stars Adam Cole and Mike Bennett, DGUSA stars Samurai Del Sol and Ricky Reyes, north east worker Smith James and Extreme Rising’s Luke Hawx. There are conflicting reports about whether Sami Calahan was there, but we can confirm that the Briscoe Brothers were not there.
The talent will be informed within 2-4 weeks about whether they will be offered a developmental contract.
