WWE star Bobby Lashley appeared on Friday’s episode of Busted Open Radio on Sirius XM Fight Nation 93, and during the appearance, Lashley addressed a possible match against Brock Lesnar in WWE. Despite speculation that Lesnar is on his way out of WWE to prepare for his UFC fight against Daniel Cormier next year, Lashley had the following to say on facing The Beast.
“When we discussed coming back that was the one match that I had asked for. And it’s not so much I ask for it, so many other people ask for it. And I think the funniest part of that match would be the buildup for that match. I mean, it’s a real deal. Like, me and Brock have never met, really. I’ve been in the business 15 years and I’ve never really met Brock. There was one time in passing, ‘hey, what’s up?’ ‘What’s up?’ And that was about it. So we’re completely…I can post anything on my Instagram right now, post a picture of myself drinking coffee, and there’ll be a bunch of things that go out saying, ‘man, we want to see you and Brock. We want to see you and Brock.’ That is a match that I think everybody wants to see.”
