Enrollment: 143
Section: 3A
The Fighting Saints posted great 17-4 dual meet marks last season, back from the section championship team are nine section place winners including five state tourney qualifiers and eight others with a great deal of experience. Despite the graduation of five seniors including four section place winners; three were state qualifiers they challenge those dual meet marks of last season. The Fighting Saints should make a strong challenge to defend their section championship and possibly challenge for some hardware at the state tourney. Zach Carlson, Chase Norton, Cody Peters, Nick Meyer and Jordan Engler should be their key leaders thru out the season.

MOORHEAD SPUDS
Head Coach: Skip Toops
Enrollment: 1,354
Section: 8AAA
The Spuds had a great season as they posted 15-5 dual meet marks, back from that team are five section place winners, including two state qualifiers and nine others with a great deal of experience. They did graduate eight seniors including two state place winners, one other qualifier and another would have likely been a qualifier if it hadn’t been for an injury. Despite the heavy loss in graduation they should challenge those dual meet marks. The Spuds will have a big challenge in front of them to defend all their honors from last season. Yet by the end of the season look for this team to make a strong challenge to defend their section title. Kenny Mark, Grant Brendemuhl, Joseph Grove and Sam Grove should be their key leaders.
