When I find the perfect version of a staple garment, I spread the joy throughout my clientele. My newest perfect staple is this MOD.lusive long cardigan. I have added it to numerous wardrobes from a thirty something IT woman to a retired sixty something.
Many longer cardigans are often extra long, designed with draping, or of the conservative "boyfriend" variety. These all have their place in a wardrobe, but none are as flattering or as soft as this baby. I have never felt a softer fabric and it strteches to your comfort. As for fit, it sits close to the body with a streamlined silhouette. There are no extra folds or fabric to create bulk. The kicker is the sleeves. A three quarter length sleeve that fits like a second skin is absolutely the most flattering sleeve. It also has ruching on the arm to add an interesting visual to the otherwise simple garment. It also comes in a ranibow of color varieties, including black, grey and chocolate brown, but my favorites for my clients are tangerine, purple desire and surf blue.
A long simple cadirgan like this will not look its best with dresses or skirts. Pair this with lean bottoms like skinny jeans, shorts or leggings. Keep in mind too, this is a casual cardigan that may not be appropriate in a professional setting. Use this as an everyday throw on for casual attire.
My last tip is a general cardigan reminder. Sweaters of this type go over sleeveless tops. If you try to put this on over a top with sleeves you will be able to see the bunching of the garment underneath. It will also be difficult to get into.
