Controversy erupted when WWE Hall of Famer Booker T claimed on a recent edition of his Heated Conversations podcast that a feud between himself and Raw announcer Corey Graves is the reason why is not currently still working as an announcer. Booker event claimed that the company was afraid that he would attack Graves eventually. Graves commented on the issue during last night’s edition of Raw when he warned Booker’s replacement, Jonathan Coachman, the following: “you better be careful Coach, watch your tongue or you might be doing afternoon radio locally.” This likely a reference to the fact that Booker’s podcast airs locally on Houston Sports Radio 610.

The 25th anniversary edition of Monday Night Raw featured several different guest stars who have appeared during the show’s history. However, several fans were not pleased with the treatment of the female performers of the past on the show. Former WWE Superstar Terri Runnels voiced her displeasure with the segment on her Cigars, Scars and Superstars podcast. However, she revealed that her former husband Goldust originally pitched an idea to Vince McMahon which called for himself and Runnels to reunite for the night. The show would have seen Runnels accompany Goldust to the ring for a match against Enzo Amore. Due to Enzo’s suspension and McMahon’s decision to cancel the angle, Goldust was left off of the show altogether.
Several MMA stars have made the shift from MMA over to the world of pro wrestling over the years. Just recently, Shayna Baszler debuted in NXT and her friend Ronda Rousey signed with WWE just a few weeks ago. During an appearance on SiriusXM radio, former UFC star Miesha Tate recently revealed her desire to join the company for a match at some point in the future. Despite this, she stated that she is not entirely too keen on working a match against her MMA rival Ronda Rousey. Tate said she would consider working with WWE or even Rousey if the company offered her the right amount of money for those matches. Perhaps we will see that match in WWE one day.
