A malware attack was launched on one of India’s oldest, Cosmos bank headquartered in Pune in which an estimated amount of Rs 94 crore and 42 lakh has been siphoned off to foreign countries.
It is believed that the cyber hackers attacked the ATM switch of the bank from where the amount was transferred to other countries. An FIR has been lodged at the Chatushrungi police station by the police officials on the basis of the bank’s complaint.
