It seems that WWE Smackdown General Manager, Daniel Bryan, is trying to give Superstars on his roster EXACTLY what they ask for. This time it’s in regards to the Tag Team Championship.
Last week on Smackdown Live, we saw Chad Gable & Jason Jordan Shelton Benjamin beat the WWE Tag Team Champions, The Usos, to win the titles. Unfortunately for Gable & Benjamin, the referee reversed the decision when he realized that the duo pinned the wrong Uso.
Gable & Benjamin were seen in the middle of the ring tonight saying that they deserve the WWE Tag Team Championships, and were met by Daniel Bryan. Bryan argued that they didn’t win, and that he knows what it feels like to win something and have it ripped away from him. Gable then asked Bryan what he wants them to do, beat the Usos twice in one night?
Daniel Bryan said that that is a great idea, and that that is EXACTLY what is going to happen! Bryan then announced that Chad Gable & Shelton Benjamin will challenge the Usos for the Tag Team Championship at the Royal Rumble for a 2-out-of-3 falls match!
