— Attendance for last night’s WWE Smackdown at MSG was said to be much lower than Raw the previous night in the same arena. Significant portions of the upper section were tarped off.

— Daniel Bryan was backstage at the arena in the afternoon but left before the show began, reports pwinsider.com. Bryan was never booked to be on the show which is why he left. It’s unknown if he will be appearing at Clash of Champions this weekend during the Roman Reigns vs. Erick Rowan No DQ match.

— There are conflicting reports on whether Kurt Angle was backstage at Smackdown, but he obviously was not used in any capacity. Meanwhile, Rey Mysterio was backstage.

— There were a pitch made to have a Battle Royal to determine Chad Gable’s opponent in the King of the Ring semi-final match but Vince McMahon made the call to go with Shane McMahon instead.

— Ali defeated Buddy Murphy in the dark match.

— As noted, “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt also defeated The B-Team in a two-on-one handicap match that took place as the post-205 Live dark match to end the WWE tapings at MSG on Tuesday night.
