According to the Dark Order, their mysterious Higher Power – wait, sorry that’s the “Exalted One” – is fast approaching, and the cryptic faction added to the already insane speculation this week on AEW Dynamite.

During a pre-recorded promo, Evil Uno and Stu Greyson announced that the group would be facing SoCal Uncensored’s Kazarian and Scorpio Sky in tag team action this Saturday evening at AEW Revolution. However, they also sent a warning to SCU’s Christopher Daniels, promising to make him… OBSOLETE!

Now, there’s a very small chance that an incredibly uncommon word somehow made it through the writing process and onto live television without anyone noticing. More than likely AEW is either playing off the rabid rumor mill surrounding Matt Hardy in a tongue-and-cheek manner, or outright letting you know what’s about to happen.

Hardy’s current contract is set to expire at the end of this month – in fact, just hours after the Revolution pay-per-view goes off the air. It is not expected that he will re-sign with WWE, and in typical Matt fashion he has been teasing virtually every option on social media.

In fact, just this week he posted “DEAR DR RKO” on his Twitter account, promoting a new episode of his online series Free The Delete. Fans were quick to point out that the phrase is an anagram for “DARK ORDER”.
