Today’s Forum Thread of the Day comes from QuigleyDU who posted concerning CBS’ new shakeup of their Masters team. The new changes will see Michelle Wie work on CBS’ multimedia golf coverage for the season – including this year’s Masters. Other changes include:
Frank Nobilo receiving a full-time role, Dottier Pepper now a lead on-course reporter, Andrew Catalon being given a more prolific role, and Mark Immelman will have an expanded role during the PGA Tour season including CBS multimedia coverage of the Masters and PGA Championship.
Our members have been discussing the changes in our forums.
Here are a few posts from the thread, but make sure to check out the entire discussion and have your say at the link below.
- third-times-a-charge: “Golf desperately needs younger and more lively figureheads all across the board, so this is a good start.”
- cardoustie: “Hope she works out in this role. Hope she is back to competitive golf. Injuries and a US Open win have taken away her drive I fear.”
- Krt22: “I say this is a good move, an actual modern golfer with close ties to many top players, lots of social media presence. From the little bit of Solheim Cup I did watch, she seemed extremely well-spoken and very comfortable in the role.”
- caniac6: “They could put Bozo the Clown on the Masters broadcast, and I’d still watch.”
