Oh, Mylanta! You’ll never guess who just bought up the Full House home in San Francisco: the one and only Jeff Franklin, creator of the beloved family show.
“The house came on the market and really, I just thought, I have to buy this house,” Franklin told The Hollywood Reporter. “I’m so sentimental about the house. It’s great to have the house in our Full House family and be able to preserve it for the fans. … Seriously, I love owning this house.”
The home is located in the affluent San Fransiscan neighborhood of Lower Pacific Heights, and is in the classic Victorian Style found throughout the city. Take a look at the gorgeous home in the video below.

The previous owners had painted over the Tanner’s classic red door in a seafoam green, so the first thing Franklin did when he became the new owner was to paint it back to red. “There are probably 250 fans per day that show up and take a picture in front of it,” Franklin said of the house. “It will be a lot more fun for the fans because now the house will look like the Tanners really live there. It’s a gift to the fans, but it’s also fun for me to own it.”

“It’s a shame to let it sit empty,” the Full House creator added. “I will be renting it out, but I’m not sure yet what, where, when or how. At some point soon I will figure that out.”
