New Japan Pro Wrestling has released the full match card for their second biggest event of the year, NJPW Dominion, set to take place this Saturday at Osaka-Jo Hall in Osaka, Japan. The entire show will be broadcast live on New Japan World with English commentary from Kevin Kelly and Don Callis, kicking off at 3:00 a.m. EDT.
The card itself is one of the most stacked events in the promotion’s history, including some of its annual Tokyo Dome shows. As previously reported, tickets for Dominion sold out in record time with some fans even flying in internationally.
The main event will featuring Kazuchika Okada defending the IWGP Heavyweight Championship against Kenny Omega, as the two six-star performers look to finally settle their incredible rivalry in a match with no time limits, and two falls to the finish. Chris Jericho will also be in action, taking on Tetsuya Naito for the IWGP Intercontinental Championship.
We also have Hiromu Takahashi challenging Will Ospreay for the juniors title just five days after his monumental victory in the Best of the Super Juniors Finals at Korakuen Hall. For those who haven’t seen his excellent bout with Taiji Ishimori in the tournament finals, do yourself a favor and check it out on New Japan World immediately. Plus Rey Mysterio in action, the Young Bucks getting their very first shot at the heavyweight division’s tag team titles, and a whole lot more.
