Hideo Itami came to NXT with a lot of hype around him back in 2014. The Japanese sensation formerly known as KENTA will finally be joining WWE’s main roster as part of the cruiserweight division on this Tuesday’s episode of 205 Live. It appears that he left quite an impression on the NXT locker room since he was given a grand send-off from the developmental brand this past Saturday night. Hideo Itami’s NXT run was unfortunately derailed and altered quite a bit due to numerous injuries that he sustained during his time there. Hopefully, his main roster run will bring him much better luck. Hideo Itami will be delivering the GTS to the stars of 205 Live starting this Tuesday.

Former WWF announcer Sean Mooney has had somewhat of a resurgence in the company in recent years. Mooney has taken part in numerous specials for the WWE Network as of late, including The Edge and Christian Show and a recent WWE Unreleased DVD. It appears as though Mooney is currently filming a brand new WWE project at the moment with Bring it to the Table host Peter Rosenberg. No word on what the project is about as of yet, but a photo showing Mooney and Rosenberg in front of a “Raw is War” banner has led some to assume that it may be in relation to the upcoming 25th anniversary of Monday Night Raw.

One of the top tag teams on the independent circuit right now is undoubtedly War Machine, consisting of Raymond Rowe and Hanson. The team had been competing for Ring of Honor, however, the team took a bow in front of the crowd after losing to Leon St. Giovanni and Shahdom Ali during a recent ROH TV taping. Some have already speculated that the tag team could be on their way to WWE or NXT very soon, while others have suggested that they may be joining New Japan Pro Wrestling full time as part of the company’s planned expansion into the United States. We’ll be sure to update this story as new details on the status of War Machine continues to be released.
