— Jake Roberts told Kevin Eck of the Baltimore Sun that he doesn’t think he’ll ever retire from professional wrestling and that he hopes to die in the ring. “Going out in front of people always feels good. It’s sad that in reality, you cannot go out there and do the same things you could do 25 years ago – and neither do I wish to. … I’ll never retire. It’s my passion. I hope to die in that ring,” Roberts said. He’s also interested in working for WWE again, but doesn’t think he’ll be able to handle it. “I would love to. I just don’t know if that’s possible. I have a tremendous amount to give yet. How I’m going to give it, I don’t know. Because I’m not sure at this stage of my sobriety if I would be strong enough to accept the changes and the enhancements that they would put on what I write,” Roberts said. {Interview link}

— The Sun has an article on Ultimate Warrior’s return to the ring this past week. They wrote: “Considering his dedication to getting in ring-shape for this one-off match, it would appear that a Warrior return could be on the cards with one of the Big Two. A feud with WWE head honcho Vince McMahon perhaps or a reunion with his former tag team partner Sting in TNA? In wrestling it’s best to never say never, as retirements and real life feuds never seem to last when money can be made from them.” {Article link}
