Kevin Owens has sent another defiant statement to Shane McMahon, and unlike Tuesday night on Smackdown, this time there was no one to cut off his microphone.
It was announced early Sunday afternoon that Owens would face Dolph Ziggler in singles competition on the main card of WWE Extreme Rules. When it actually came time for the match, it took the pissed off Canadian all of 17 seconds to rush the ring, deliver a “Stone Cold” Stunner and pick up perhaps the most quick and decisive victory of his entire career.
After making short work of the so-called “Showoff”, Owens grabbed a live mic and let loose another verbal tirade on Shane McMahon. You can check out the promo bellow, although it’s worth noting that WWE has curiously edited down the original segment, cutting off the end where KO told Shane O’Mac to “kiss my ass and go straight to hell.”
McMahon was unable to respond to the incident as he was involved in one hell of a battle earlier in the night, when he and Drew McIntyre faced The Undertaker and Roman Reigns in a No Holds Barred street fight. Shane delivered a top rope elbow drop through the announce table during the match, as well as the coast-to-cast using a metal crash can. In the end, he would find himself on the receiving end of a hellacious Tombstone Piledriver from the Deadman himself.
