Karl Lagerfeld proved a popular choice for dressing up at costume parties, and his friends reported spotted 19 Karls’ circulating in Paris during Halloween.
The news comes whilst Lagerfeld was shooting the Chanel Spring 08 campaign with Claudia Schiffer in the South of France at the time when one such masquerade took place in New York. The man who choose to dress up as Karl was none other than Roberto Cavalli.
And the best Lagerfeld costume he’s seen to date? According to WWD: “James Kaliardos from Visionaire,” Lagerfeld said. “I think it’s a great complement.” Unfortunately, it’s one that’s not so easy to return. “Few designers have a very special way of dressing. They are ‘classic’ or jeans and T-shirt, so what can I take from them?” he said. “Ralph Lauren like a cowboy could be fun…”
