During the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer provided an update on the status of former NXT Superstar, Lars Sullivan.

Whilst Meltzer noted that there is no timetable for his return to WWE, he did note that it would likely be “sooner than later,” which could be a sign that he will return in the near future.

Sullivan was set to make his main roster debut back in January after several teaser videos were aired for his call-up, however, he reportedly suffered from some anxiety related issues that kept him off the shows.

Sullivan had been reported to be John Cena’s opponent for WrestleMania 35, but those plans were obviously nixed when he didn’t debut on the main roster.

During Triple H’s latest media call, The Game was asked about the status of Sullivan, where Triple H stated:

“It’s one of those situations where you just have to wait and see, there’s much more to come, you just have to wait and see.”
