Talks continue between PSG and Lille about the possible transfer of United States international Timothy Weah.

Soccer Link report that PSG representative Jaime Texeira has taken over the negotiations on the Paris side following the formal departure of club Sporting Director Antero Henrique earlier today, but Les Dogues find the 40% sell-on percentage clause demand made by Les Parisiens in an eventual deal to be onerous.

The two clubs have broadly agreed to a €10m fee for Weah, but this final clause is preventing a deal from being agreed between the two parties.

On Weah’s side, even if Lille & PSG find an agreement, it is not certain that the young forward will decide to move there. He wants to take his time and has other interest from across Europe.
