On last week’s show, Marty “The Moth” Martinez became the new Lucha Underground Champion.
On this week’s show, Jack Evans took on “The Monster” Matanza Cueto in a Sacrifice To The Gods Match, The Lucha Underground Trios Title was defended, Aerostar & Drago faced Jake Strong in a 2-on-1 Nun-Chucks Match and Pentagon Dark, King Cuerno, Mil Muertes & El Dragon Azteca Jr. battled each other to determine Marty “The Moth” Martinez’s opponent for The Lucha Underground Championship in the main event of Ultima Lucha Cuatro. Let’s get right into the action on this week’s show.
Opening Segment:

We start with the announcers recapping last week’s events. Stryker reads a letter from Antonio Cueto talking about how Dragon Azteca Jr., Pentagon Dark, Mil Muertes & King Cuerno missed out on the main event of Ultima Lucha Cuatro due to Martinez’s historic night last week. The four men will fight in a No. 1 Contenders match in the main event where the winner moves on to the main event of Ultima Lucha Cuatro.
Jack Evans is in the ring and says that he doesn’t want to be in a promotion that has XO Lishus that has prevented him from helping the rest of Worldwide Underground during Johnny Mundo’s wedding. Antonio Cueto then says that Jack Evans is the latest sacrifice to “The Monster” Matanza Cueto and Evans quickly runs away but Matanza has him in a chokeslam on the steps. Cueto trips Evans as Matanza stalks Evans down. Matanza powerbombs Evans on the ring apron and is now carrying him to the ring. The match officially starts.
Opening Contest:
Jack Evans vs. “The Monster” Matanza Cueto (Sacrifice To The Gods Match): Matanza hits Evans in the stomach. Evans flips over Matanza. Evans rips the padding of a turnbuckle and sends Matanza to the exposed steel. Matanza is stunned and Evans hits a springboard single leg dropkick. Evans then hits a 630-degree cannonball from the top rope and goes for the pin. Matanza kicks out and then immediately hits Wrath of the Gods on Evans to win the match. Winner: “The Monster” Matanza Cueto

Second Match:
The Reptile Tribe (Daga, Jeremiah Snake & Kobra Moon) (c) vs. XO Lishus, Ivelisse & Joey Ryan (Lucha Underground Trios Title Match): Before the match starts, Paul London appears in the Temple and introduces El Bunny and White Rabbit. The match then starts with Snake and Ryan. Ryan takes out a lollipop from his trunks and Snake eats the lollipop and superkicks him. Moon tags in and is thrown by Snake to Ryan where Moon tries to headscissors Ryan. After some chaos ensues, Ivelisse and Daga are tagged in and Ivelisse hits a Canadian Destroyer and Daga kicks out when Ivelisse went for the pin. Ivelisse hits a step-up enziguiri to Snake and then a basement dropkick to Daga. XO Lishus is tagged in and traps Daga between his legs and hits him with his backside on the top rope. Ryan and Ivelisse superkick Daga, but The Reptile Tribe save Daga when Lishus went for the pin. Kobra Moon is thrown outside to Snake and Daga. Ivelisse cannonballs Daga to the outside. XO Lishus hits a crossbody to Snake and Moon. Snake gets back to the ring, distracts Ryan and Ryan superkicks Snake after feeding him another lollipop. Daga has Ryan in a arm bar and Ryan taps out. Winners & Still The Lucha Underground Trios Champion: The Reptile Tribe (Daga, Jeremiah Snake & Kobra Moon)
After the match, The Rabbit Tribe make their way to the ring as El Bunny hits dropkicks to both Ryan and Lishus. Ivelisse runs to El Bunny and London kicks Ivelisse. London and El Bunny hit Camel Clutches to XO Lishus, Ivelisse and Ryan until they are on the verge of collapse.

Third Match:
Aerostar & Drago vs. Jake Strong (2-on-1 Nun-Chucks Match): Strong starts the match by throwing Aerostar to the outside. Strong has Drago in his arms but Aerostar dropkicks Strong. Strong kicks out when Aerostar goes for the pin. Once the bigger man gets back up, he shoulder tackles both Drago and Aerostar. Strong sends both men to the corner and then hits a splash on the two of them. Strong goes to the stairs of the Temple but both men hold Strong’s legs and Drago quickly goes up and retrieves the nun-chucks. Aerostar goes for a springboard dive and is caught by Strong. Strong throws Aerostar to Drago. Strong sends Drago to the wall outside of the ring and then does the same to Aerostar. Aerostar gets out of the way when Strong goes for a high knee strike and hits the wall. Drago, carried by Aerostar, hits Strong with the nun-chucks multiple times. Strong kicks Aerostar, who then drops Drago. Strong throws Drago to the wooden chairs.
Aerostar climbs up a wooden ladder and grabs another pair of nun-chucks. Strong grabs Aerostar’s arm and disarms him. Strong throws Aerostar over the railing. Strong makes his way back to the ring, but Drago keeps hitting Strong with the nun-chucks. Strong then starts striking away at Drago, but Aerostar out of nowhere hits a crossbody from the second floor to Strong. Both luchadors send Strong back to the ring. They continue hitting Strong with the nun-chucks. Strong hits a big boot to Aerostar. Strong slams Drago in the middle of the ring. Strong places Aerostar to the corner and when Strong goes for the Swagger Bomb, Aerostar counters by lifting his feet up to hit Strong. Aerostar jumps on top of Drago to hit a tornado DDT on Strong. Aerostar hits a springboard headbutt and Strong kicks out when he went for the pin. Strong hits a powerbomb and then an ankle lock on Aerostar and Aerostar taps out. Winner: Jake Strong
After the match, Strong keeps applying the ankle lock, but Drago comes in for the save. Strong lets go of the hold, but Strong applies the ankle lock on Drago and Strong breaks Drago’s ankle.
Main Event:
Pentagon Dark vs. King Cuerno vs. Mil Muertes vs. El Dragon Azteca Jr. (Four-Way Match To Determine Marty “The Moth” Martinez’s Opponent For The Lucha Underground Title in the main event of Ultima Lucha Cuatro): Muertes clotheslines everyone multiple times to start the match. Muertes hits a DDT to Pentagon. Muertes hits a Samoan Drop on Cuerno, then hits a lariat to Azteca. Muertes throws Azteca halfway across the ring afterwards. Cuerno dropkicks Muertes, then throws him out of the ring. Cuerno kicks Azteca while Pentagon watches from outside of the ring. Azteca is being carried by Cuerno but Pentagon hits an enziguiri to Cuerno. Azteca hits a rolling DDT onto Pentagon. Muertes hits the corner post aiming for Azteca, but Fenix appears in the ring and grabs a hold of ring announcer Melissa Santos. Santos then runs away and Azteca goes over the top rope for a tope to Fenix. Fenix and Azteca start brawling outside of the ring and Azteca is effectively out of the match. Pentagon hits a superkick to Muertes and Cuerno dropkicks Muertes who is distracted. Cuerno hits a suicide dive to both Muertes and Pentagon. Pentagon and Cuerno are on the apron and Muertes spears both men. The Mack appears out of nowhere and hits a couple of stunners to Muertes. Pentagon returns to the ring and hits a Penta Driver on Muertes and Pentagon gets the pin. Winner & Moves On To The Main Event Of Ultima Lucha Cuatro To Face Marty “The Moth” Martinez For The Lucha Underground Title: Pentagon Dark
After the match, The Mack then closes the show by saying that he is no longer afraid of death and challenges Mil Muertes to a Death Match at Ultima Lucha Cuatro. Lucha Underground goes off the air.
