Speaking in a press conference this morning, Lyon boss Rudi Garcia confirmed that the club was not looking to sign a midfielder this month after the recently impressive performances of Maxence Caqueret.
“It has never been a priority of ours, our priority is to bring in an attacking player because we have two big injuries to guys who will not be coming back. Once we have worked on this priority area, then it may be something that we think about, yes, but the good performances put in by Maxence (Caqueret) and the fact that Jean Lucas has shown that he can be useful against Toulouse means that there is less urgency in this sector.”
