Following “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt’s victory over Finn Balor in his in-ring debut as his new character at WWE SummerSlam, Matt Hardy took to social media to respond to a tweet posted by WWE.
Hardy posted an in-character style tweet to “explain” what has happened to his former “Deleter of Worlds” tag-team partner.
“The Lake of Reincarnation is very POTENT,” wrote Hardy in a response to the official WWE Twitter page posting a video of Wyatt’s victory over Balor with a caption that read, “HURT! HEAL! HURT! HEAL! #TheFiend is victorious.”
Hardy continued, “The ESSENCE of Abigail may have been DELETED, but now #TheFIEND has taken control of Bray Wyatt’s VESSEL.”
“DELIGHTFUL!,” he concluded.
