In speaking to RMC, Marseille midfielder Mattéo Guendouzi discussed his move to OM from Arsenal which president Pablo Longoria said yesterday would be made permanent, the 22-year-old midfielder said he was “very happy and very fulfilled.”
“It was a carefully considered choice. There were some very good discussions with the president, the coach and my family. We made the best decision together. For me, it’s the best choice I’ve made in many years… Pablo Longoria and coach Sampaoli presented the project to me, which made me want to join. We talked about OM, what I could bring to the team, how I was going to be able to grow… I saw myself in their speech, I knew that by coming here I was going to improve my level and continue to grow, both as a human and as a footballer.”
