When it comes to the biggest stars in the history of pro wrestling, there is no denying that Stone Cold Steve Austin is near the very top of the list. Austin’s iconic WWF run during the ‘Attitude Era’ is still looked back on fondly and celebrated by fans to this very day. In fact, just this week, and MMA fighter paid tribute to the WWE Hall of Famer by coming due to the octagon to the tune of Austin’s theme music. At Bellator 219 last night, David Rickels walked down for his fight with the former wrestler’s entrance theme blaring in the background, and he even wore a Stone Cold-inspired vest as well. He would go on to defeat AJ Matthews before giving one of his trainers a Stone Cold Stunner in celebration of his win.

In just a couple more days, WWE will be coming to the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey for WrestleMania 35. This is not the first time that a WrestleMania show has been held in the venue. That honor goes to WrestleMania 29 back in 2013. Given that the company is coming back to the stadium for this year’s event, it seems perfect to go back in time and check out some of the events from that WrestleMania show. WWE has just uploaded one match from that show, and that is the bout between Wade Barrett and The Miz. This contest was for the Intercontinental Championship. For those interested in checking out this blast from the past, WWE uploaded the match in its entirety online. It has been posted down below:
