NXT callup Nikki Cross made her RAW debut on Monday, teaming with Natalya and Bayley to defeat The Riott Squad in tag team action. The WWE announce team of Michael Cole, Corey Graves and Renee Young were quick to point out that the callups are eligible to appear on both shows, and Cross isn’t an official RAW roster member.
After the show, Cross cut a promo in her typical, crazed style with Natalya and Bayley backstage. You can watch the video of the unique brand of character work that is Cross below:
Cross had already made her SmackDown debut at the tail end of 2018, challenging then champion Becky Lynch to a match. Other NXT callups were integrated throughout the show, notably Heavy Machinery’s Otis Dozovic interrupting the “A Moment of Bliss” segment and Lacey Evans was seen chatting up Mickie James and Natalya backstage while Finn Balor was walking to go out the ramp for a match.
