Just when we thought it wasn’t possible for  Zoë Kravitz to be any cooler, Yves Saint Laurent  Beauté announced in May that in addition to acting and fronting her electro-pop band Lolawolf, Kravitz would add another hyphen to her long list of talents as the brand’s newest muse.

Needless to say, the 27-year-old daughter of Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet is taking on the new role with ease as seen at a recent summer party she attended during Paris Couture Fashion week on July 5 at Palais Galleria. At the event, Lloyd Simmonds Creative Director of Makeup at YSL Beauty created a polished update of a thick, punky cat-eye for Kravitz that was fit for a night out in Paris, but wouldn’t look out of place when she’s on-stage with her band.

To give Kravitz’s skin an otherworldly glow, Simmonds prepped it with a cocktail of Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat Le Teint Foundation in BD50 and BD70 ($58 each; yslbeautyus.com). Along with providing even coverage, this formula is packed with anti-aging benefits to keep Kravitz’s complexion bright and awake well into the night whether she’s at a party or on-stage. Following foundation, Simmons used Yves Saint Laurent Couture Contouring Palette N°2 ($47; lordandtaylor.com) to perfect her skin.

Simmonds kept Kravitz’s eyes as the focus by painting a my-lips-but-better shade on her lips using a combination of Yves Saint Laurent Babydoll Kiss and Blush in 12 Moca Garconne ($40; yslbeautyus.com) and Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture Glossy Stain Plump Up ($36; yslbeautyus.com). On her nails, he kept the neutral palette going to tie the entire look together by painting on Yves Saint Laurent La Lacque Couture in Beige Leger ($28; yslbeautyus.com).
